Administration & Usage Instructions

Step-by-step guide to reconstituting, storing, and administering peptides safely.

Tirzepatide Quick Dosing (10 mg/mL)

Rule: 1 mg = 0.1 mL = 10 units (U-100). Dose (mg) × 10 = units.

1. Storage & Handling

  • Keep refrigerated (36-46°F / 2-8°C). Do not freeze.
  • Protect from light. Use only clear solution (no cloudiness/particles).
  • Use a new sterile syringe/needle each time. Wash hands first.

2. Reconstitution (For Lyophilized Peptides)

1

Clean & Prepare

Wash hands thoroughly. Clean the vial stopper with an alcohol swab and allow to air dry.

2

Add Bacteriostatic Water

Draw the required amount. Insert needle at an angle, directing stream against glass wall—not directly onto powder.

3

Dissolve Gently

Swirl the vial gently until all peptide powder fully dissolves. Do NOT shake—this can degrade peptides.

4

Label & Store

Label the reconstituted vial with date and concentration. Refrigerate immediately. Stable for 30 days.

3. Injection Technique (Subcutaneous)

Site Selection

Abdomen (2+ inches from navel)
Outer thighs
Back of upper arms
Upper buttocks

Technique Tips

  • Pinch skin: Lift a 1-2 inch fold of skin at the chosen site.
  • Insert needle: At 45-90° angle, depending on needle length and body composition.
  • Inject slowly: Push plunger steadily. Count to 5 before withdrawing.
  • Rotate sites: Avoid injecting in the same spot to prevent lipohypertrophy.

4. Side Effects & Tips

Common Side Effects

  • Injection site redness/swelling
  • Mild nausea (especially early on)
  • Temporary fatigue
  • Headache

Pro Tips

  • Eat smaller, more frequent meals
  • Avoid greasy/heavy foods initially
  • Stay hydrated throughout the day
  • Walk after meals to aid digestion

5. Safety Reminders

  • Never share needles or syringes with others.
  • Dispose of sharps in an approved container.
  • Seek medical attention for severe reactions (difficulty breathing, severe swelling).
  • Always inform healthcare providers about all medications you're using.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about peptide administration:

Do you include syringes and supplies with my order?

Yes! All orders include bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes (29-31 gauge), alcohol swabs, and a sharps container. You have everything needed to get started.

What size syringe should I use?

We include U-100 insulin syringes (1 mL capacity) with 29-31 gauge needles. These are ideal for subcutaneous peptide injections—the thin needle minimizes discomfort.

How do I know how many units to draw?

For 10 mg/mL concentration: multiply your dose in mg by 10 to get units. Example: 2.5 mg = 25 units, 5 mg = 50 units. Check your vial's concentration label to confirm.

Does the injection hurt?

Most people describe it as a quick pinch. Using proper technique (45° angle, pinching the skin, inserting smoothly) and rotating sites helps minimize discomfort. The thin 29-31 gauge needles make it nearly painless.

Where is the best place to inject?

The abdomen (2+ inches from navel) is most popular for easy access and good absorption. Thighs and back of the upper arm are also suitable. Rotate between sites to prevent tissue irritation.

Can I inject into muscle instead of fat?

GLP-1 peptides like tirzepatide are designed for subcutaneous (under the skin, into fat) injection—not intramuscular. Inject into fatty tissue only.

How long after mixing can I use my peptide?

Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, most peptides remain stable for 28 days when refrigerated properly (36-46°F). Never freeze reconstituted peptides.

What if I see particles or cloudiness in my vial?

After reconstitution, the solution should be clear and colorless. If you notice particles, cloudiness, or discoloration, do not use it. Contact our support team for assistance.

Can I travel with my peptides?

Yes, but keep them cool during transport. Use an insulated bag with ice packs. TSA allows injectable medications. Carry a copy of your order confirmation for documentation if asked.

What do I do with used needles?

Never throw needles in regular trash. Use the sharps container included with your order. When full, seal it and dispose according to your local regulations (pharmacies often accept sharps containers).

I'm nervous about self-injecting. Any tips?

Totally normal! Start by watching our video guides. Take your time, breathe deeply, and remember—the needle is very thin. Most people find it gets much easier after 2-3 injections. Ice the area beforehand if it helps.

What time of day should I inject?

There's no strict requirement, but many people prefer morning injections for GLP-1 peptides. The key is consistency—pick a time that works for your schedule and stick with it weekly.

Need Supplies?

We provide all necessary supplies including bacteriostatic water, syringes, and alcohol swabs with your order.
